Chief and Junior Physicist – Wichita

Alyzen Medical Physics is an innovative and expanding medical physics consulting group currently searching for two qualified medical physicists to join our team of physicists, dosimetrists, software engineers, and management staff. Both positions will be primarily based in Wichita, Kansas at a facility with great equipment providing a range of radiation oncology services to keep a physicist engaged and their skills sharp.

Wichita, Kansas
Wichita is the largest city in the state of Kansas, boasting a population of over 650,000 people. With museums, theatres, parks, and entertainment venues, it has “big city” amenities with a small-town feel. It has great access to lakes and state parks for those interested in outdoor adventures. Wichita has a newly renovated airport and is located only two hours’ drive time from Oklahoma City and Kansas City. Wichita State University calls it home and Kansas State University and Kansas University is only a few hours away.

The Facility The facility is well-equipped and provides an array of services. Here are a few highlights:
• Varian Trilogy and TrueBeam Edge with OSMS (Vision RT)
• In-House CT scanner with 4D scanning capability
• ARIA EMR with Eclipse Treatment Planning System
• Varian Varisource HDR Afterloader
• Brachyvision Brachytherapy Planning System
• XOFT Electronic IORT
• Mobius and DoseLab
• Sun Nuclear QA equipment (including ArcCheck and Profiler)

In addition to routine external beam therapy, the physicists at this facility will have the opportunity be involved with SBRT, SRS, Brachytherapy, and IORT.

The Positions
Chief Medical Physicist
ABR Certified with 3 to 5 years of experience. The candidate must possess a strong background in all aspects of radiation oncology physics including HDR, SBRT and SRS. This position requires a person with strong organizational, oral and written communication skills. The Chief Medical Physicists will have supervisory responsibilities for several junior physicists and manage all routine clinical physics requirements.

Junior Medical Physicist
Board eligible physicist with a Master of Science degree or doctoral degree in Medical Physics, or related discipline. The candidate will be under the direct supervision of an Alyzen clinical physicist designee. The candidate must possess a solid background in radiation oncology physics including SBRT and SRS. This position requires a person with strong oral and written communication skills.

Physicist and Dosimetrist

Physicist – Southeast

Alyzen Medical Physics has been a provider of physics and dosimetry services to treatment centers in Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Kansas for over 19 years. We also provide commissioning services globally and have a vast experience with the latest treatment modalities. Alyzen employs 10 Medical Physicist, 7 Medical Dosimetrist, 2 Software developers and management staff. SOUTHEAST
Alyzen Medical Physics is seeking a highly motivated full-time ABR Certified or board eligible physicist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in all aspects of radiation oncology physics including SBRT and SRS. This position requires a person with strong oral and written communication skills. The successful candidates will join a professional team of physicists and dosimetrists in the Northeast Arkansas and Southern Missouri area. All centers are equipped with Varian Linear Accelerators, Eclipse and Aria.
